Pipeline Equipment supplies the <strong>ARGE SEL 03<\/strong> with equipment for laying the <strong>DN 1000<\/strong> pipes \u2013 directly to the ARGE site store in Sinsheim. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:79px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project overview: The Heidelberg\u2013Heilbronn section<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SEL is a gas pipeline of around 250 kilometres operated by the transmission system operator Terranets BW, running from Hesse through Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg to Bavaria. It is being built in sections as demand requires. The ARGE SEL 03 section runs from Heidelberg via Eppelheim, Leimen, Gaiberg, Wiesloch, Mauer, Meckesheim, Spechbach, Epfenbach, Neckarbischofsheim, Helmstadt-Bargen, H\u00fcffenhardt, Siegelsbach and Bad Rappenau to Heilbronn.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Initially, the SEL will transport <strong>natural gas<\/strong> and connect modern gas-fired power plants. From the early <strong>2030s<\/strong>, as part of the <strong>hydrogen<\/strong> core network, it is to carry hydrogen to the Rhine-Neckar region and the Stuttgart area. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:80px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customer and partners: The ARGE SEL 03<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The section is being built by the joint venture <strong>ARGE SEL 03<\/strong>, made up of <strong>Friedrich Vorwerk SE &amp; Co. KG<\/strong>, <strong>PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH<\/strong>, <strong>HABAU Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft m.b.H<\/strong>. and <strong>Bohlen &amp; Doyen Bau GmbH<\/strong> \u2013 the same partners we already worked with on SEL 01. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:81px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Construction period: Commissioning at the end of 2026<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The network operator Terranets BW has been building the section in stages since <strong>August 2025<\/strong>. As of October 2026, pipeline construction between H\u00fcffenhardt and Leimen and between Siegelsbach and Heilbronn is complete. Between Heidelberg and Leimen, the pipeline is being laid underground over three kilometres using a drilling method. At the <strong>end of 2026<\/strong>, the section is to be connected to the existing network in Heidelberg and Heilbronn, and the land is expected to be restored by summer 2027.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company has been supplying the ARGE since the first order in <strong>autumn 2025<\/strong>. Deliveries follow the progress of construction, directly to the site store as required. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:81px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Products and technology: Equipment for DN 1000<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For lifting, aligning and preparing the DN 1000 pipes, Pipeline Equipment supplied:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/rough-centering-for-precise-welding\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"353\">External line-up clamps DN 1000<\/a><\/strong> in a hydraulic version and a version without hydraulic cylinder, for precise alignment of the pipe ends before welding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/rough-centering-for-precise-welding\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"353\">Ratchet tensioners<\/a><\/strong> for the external line-up clamps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pipe hooks<\/strong> with a 12 t load capacity for safe lifting of the pipes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/products\/lifting-laying\/\" type=\"category\" id=\"52\">Chain slings<\/a><\/strong> in 1-, 2- and 4-leg versions, including a custom-made 2-leg chain with a 22.4 t load capacity and coupling connection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/welding-blankets-for-the-protection-of-weld-seams\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"562\">Welding blankets DN 1000<\/a><\/strong> to protect the welds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/pipe-night-caps-for-pipe-ends\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"406\">Night caps DN 1000<\/a><\/strong> to keep dirt and moisture out of the pipes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Osborn <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/pipeline-wheel-brush-for-welding-seam-processing\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"1334\">wheel brushes<\/a><\/strong> for surface treatment and weld preparation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:81px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Services by Pipeline Equipment<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to supplying equipment, Pipeline Equipment supported the ARGE SEL 03 with these services:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Express deliveries:<\/strong> When material is missing on site, every day counts.
