Since early 2026, Pipeline Equipment has been supplying both construction sites with equipment for lifting, aligning and welding \u2013 directly to the material yards in Stade and Zeven. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:80px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project overview: Two pipelines for LNG from Stade and Brunsb\u00fcttel<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>ETL 182<\/strong> is around <strong>87 kilometres<\/strong> long and runs from the Elbe S\u00fcd network point near Stade through the districts of Stade, Rotenburg (W\u00fcmme) and Verden to the compressor station near <strong>Achim<\/strong>. It carries the liquefied natural gas landed in Stade and Brunsb\u00fcttel southwards and is designed for future hydrogen transport. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>ETL 179.200<\/strong> connects Stade-B\u00fctzfleth with <strong>Deinste<\/strong> over around <strong>18 kilometres<\/strong>. It links the planned onshore LNG terminal in Stade to the gas grid and is also built to be hydrogen-ready. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:80px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customer and partners<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pipelines are being built by the <strong>ARGE ETL 182<\/strong> joint venture, made up of <strong>Friedrich Vorwerk SE &amp; Co. KG<\/strong>, <strong>PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH<\/strong>, <strong>HABAU Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft m.b.H.<\/strong>, <strong>Bohlen &amp; Doyen Bau GmbH<\/strong> and<strong> SICIM S.p.A.<\/strong> The client is <strong>Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:81px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Construction period: Commissioning in 2026 and 2027<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construction of the ETL 182 began in <strong>January 2026<\/strong>, with commissioning planned for the <strong>end of 2027<\/strong>. The ETL 179.200 has been under construction since <strong>March 2026<\/strong> and is scheduled for technical completion at the end of <strong>2026<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have been delivering continuously since <strong>January 2026<\/strong> as construction progresses \u2013 sometimes by freight forwarder, sometimes as an express delivery.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:80px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Products and technology: Equipment for DN 900 and DN 1400<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For lifting, aligning and welding the pipes, we supplied:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/choker-belt-for-precise-pipe-bending-processes\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"1350\">Chokerbelts DN 900<\/a><\/strong> with a 10 t load capacity for safe lifting of the pipes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/lowering-in-belt-for-professional-pipeline-construction\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"1358\">Lowering-in belt<\/a><\/strong> with a load capacity of 32 t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/pipe-lifting-belt-for-lifting-work\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"567\">Pipe lifting belts<\/a><\/strong> with 4 t and 20 t load capacity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/rough-centering-for-precise-welding\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"353\">External line-up clamps DN 900<\/a><\/strong> with hydraulic cylinders for precise alignment of the pipe ends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/special-calibration-disk\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"414\">Calibration disks<\/a><\/strong> made of aluminium with an outer diameter of 860 mm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/welding-blankets-for-the-protection-of-weld-seams\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"562\">Welding blankets DN 900<\/a><\/strong> from our own production, heat-resistant up to 800 \u00b0C<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/robust-welding-umbrella-for-welding-work\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"363\">Welding umbrellas<\/a><\/strong> with a diameter of 2.5 m<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/welder-reclining-board\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"513\">Welder reclining boards<\/a><\/strong> in a reinforced version<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipeline-equipment.de\/en\/pipe-jacks-for-welding-work\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"509\">Pipe jacks<\/a><\/strong> with a 1,000 kg load capacity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:83px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Services by Pipeline Equipment<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to supplying equipment, we supported the ARGE with these services:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Express deliveries<\/strong>: Urgent orders leave Gladbeck at short notice, as express if required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delivery to the construction site<\/strong>: Directly to the ARGE material yards in Stade and Zeven.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rental<\/strong>: Equipment that is only needed for individual construction phases is also available for rent from us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion: Equipment for the LNG connection in northern Germany<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ETL 182 and ETL 179.200<\/strong> bring LNG from Stade and Brunsb\u00fcttel into the German gas grid \u2013 and are already designed for hydrogen.
