The external line-up clamp for precise welding is the ideal solution for minimising edge misalignment on pipe joints. It is placed over the pipe joint and exerts stable pressure on the pipe ends using a hydraulic cylinder or mechanical force. With a hinged double ring and adjustable centering bridges, it allows up to 90 % of the root pass welding to be carried out without removing the clamp.
